Unlike many of his contemporaries who focused on grunge or documentary styles to capture the bleak reality of the time, Krivon focused on a stylized, idealized, and highly glamorous form of beauty. He was one of the first photographers in the region to successfully transition from traditional film to high-end digital photography, using early digital editing techniques to create a signature "plastic" or "porcelain" look for his models.

The name became synonymous with curiosity tempered by humility, with knowledge wielded for the common good.
