If your radio receives signal but sounds faint or drops out, the antenna amplifier might not be powered. Ensure the blue wire is connected to your head unit’s power antenna lead.
This wire routes directly to the vehicle battery via a dedicated fuse circuit. It maintains system memory, clock configurations, and radio presets when the engine is turned off. On factory harnesses, this is often a thicker Yellow or Blue/Yellow wire.
