The primary function of the KESS v2 is to safely extract the original map file from a vehicle and upload a modified version.

Connect the KESS V2 interface to the vehicle's OBD2 port. Then, connect the KESS V2 interface to your laptop via its USB port.

The tool cannot communicate with the vehicle computer. Verify the ignition key position, check the vehicle diagnostic fuses, and confirm that the car battery is fully charged.

Now you will upload the modified file to the car.
