La Luna (1979) is a challenging, artistic drama worth watching for Bertolucci fans — but finding a free, legal, fully subtitled version online is difficult. Your best bet is a paid rental. If you do find a free upload, verify that it includes correct subtitles and isn’t a mislabeled different film (like the 2011 Pixar short La Luna ). 🌐 Watching "La Luna 1979" Online with Arabic

Bored and lonely in the ancient streets of Rome, Joe falls in with a rough crowd and quickly becomes addicted to heroin. The film does not shy away from the grim reality of this addiction, showing Joe’s physical and moral decay. Discovering her son’s plight, Caterina is initially desperate to help him; she tries conventional rehabilitation methods, but they fail. In a desperate, perverse twist, she decides to "wean" him off his heroin addiction by substituting the drug with herself—leading to the infamous incestuous relationship at the heart of the film.
La Luna remains a cinematic oddity—a film that is simultaneously sublime and foolish, beautiful and grotesque. It is not Bertolucci's most popular film, nor his most successful, but it is arguably his most personal.
