Running Wild debuted with Gates to Purgatory (1984) and followed up with Branded and Exiled (1985). At this stage, the band shared more thematic ground with Venom and early Slayer than their future pirate personas. Musically, these albums are fast, raw, and aggressive. The production history of Running Wild is diverse.
