: PCSX2 can run in a portable mode. By creating a blank file named portable.ini in the PCSX2 folder, the emulator will store all its settings and save data within that folder instead of your user directory. You can then place this entire folder on a USB drive or in a cloud-synced folder for automatic backups.
PCSX2 stores these memory cards in a specific location on your computer. On Windows, by default, you can find them in C:\Users\Username\Documents\PCSX2\memcards . If you ever lose track, the emulator provides shortcuts: navigate to or Settings > Memory Cards > Browse to jump directly to the folder.
