As a next-generation meshing platform, ANSYS 13.0's meshing technology integrated the robust preprocessing functions of ANSYS, combining the capabilities of specialized grid tools like ICEM CFD, TGRID, CFX-MESH, and GAMBIT into a single, intelligent platform. The Mesh component in Workbench could automatically generate default grids at the start of a solution and allowed for easy refinement. This unified approach meant users no longer had to switch between multiple applications for meshing; they could handle it all within the Workbench environment.
Just three years after 13.0, ANSYS 15.0 arrived in November 2013 with massive advancements across the entire software portfolio, including structures, fluids, and electromagnetics. The overarching theme of version 15.0 was "complete multiphysics workflows," enabling leading simulation practices that were previously difficult to achieve. ansys 13 full 15
