It all started a few years ago when I was just a young and ambitious journalist, trying to make a name for myself in the fashion world. I had always been fascinated by the Cavalli brand, with its bold designs and fearless approach to fashion. I had written several articles about the brand, and my editor had given me the opportunity to interview the legendary designer, Roberto Cavalli.
It was a childhood that, in many ways, belied the high-octane career that lay ahead. "My upbringing was about honesty and integrity," Cavalli shared with APOVStory in an intimate sit-down. "It taught me that no matter where life takes you, the people who know the real you—the ones who were there before the lights and the cameras—are the ones who matter most."
