Every Epson printer has a waste ink pad inside that absorbs ink used during cleaning cycles. To prevent overflow, the printer counts how much ink has been absorbed. Once it hits a preset limit, the printer locks itself to prevent damage.

Extract Files: Extract the contents to a folder on your desktop.

If you are comfortable taking things apart, you can unscrew the printer case, remove the saturated felt pads, rinse them thoroughly under warm tap water, let them dry completely for 24 hours, and place them back inside.

Follow these steps carefully to reset your printer.
